  • Jenn Stewart is an associate professor in the English department at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga where she also serves as the Director of Composition. As Director of Composition, Jenn is deeply invested in writing program administration and the development of non-tenure track faculty and graduate students. Her research interests center around digital literacies, teaching with technology, and online writing instruction.

  • Emily Thompson is an associate professor and the Director of the Studio at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Emily has a passion for helping others achieve their research goals no matter their level of experience. Together, she and Jenn have created an invaluable partnership between the Studio and the First-Year Writing Faculty.

  • Anna N. McDonald is a PhD student in Composition and Rhetoric at the University of South Carolina. Her research interests are primarily in the field of composition and include first-year writing pedagogy, writing program administration, and teaching with technology.

  • Andrea Schurr is a professor in the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Library where they serve as Digital Development Librarian. In this role, they provide support for library systems including custom scripting, database development, server and application support, and data analysis for library projects.

  • Dominik Heinrici is an associate lecturer in the English department at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. His teaching interests center around First-Year English, rhetoric, grammar, and the history of the English language, while his research interests include a focus on medieval literature, rhetoric, and propaganda.

  • Krista McKay is a senior lecturer in the English department at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, where she primarily teaches the First-Year Writing sequence as well as the occasional Professional Writing course.

She is interested in digital composition, history, politics, culture, languages, and teaching multimodally in both her First-Year Writing courses and the occasional Professional Writing or Special Topics course.
