The Apple

The Apple icon represented what, in some ways, was the least fleshed-out section of this hypertext project, the pedagogy section. However, despite the relatively few number of nodes that the apple thread visits, the pressure of the pedagogical turn runs throughout the hypertext. The connection to future classroom practice is never forgotten.

My proposed pedagogy is a three pronged one, dividing itself between the three theoretical spaces discussed in parts one, two, and three of the metacommentary. The antagonism between the first section and the second can be solved with careful examination of Bolter and Kolb, both of whom offer ideas that walk the boundary between the two ideas. Lefebvre, too, plays the part of the mediator. See difference_from_repetition.html.
