A lot has happened to the three of us co-chairs since we welcomed members of the Computers and Writing Community to Texas Woman's University and Fort Worth, TX for the Computers and Writing 2000 Conference. Hugh celebrated the arrival of two grandchildren and took up cycling as a substitute for dancing wildly at conferences; Dene and John ran off to the South Seas for a month. Upon their return, John began working as a Content Strategist for Scient and building lawn furniture in his "new" spare time. Dene still spends the early morning hours nursing the fierce cappuccino habit she picked up during the conference planning. Contact us to say hello and let us know you got home from Fort Worth okay. We haven't heard from some of you, so we are getting kind of worried.
