"Ha-de-dah" was composed and performed extemporaneously by members of the Sharing Cultures Project team during the CCC cohort's visit to Port Elizabeth in Summer of 2004.
Perhaps more than any other single connection, we have discovered that music provides an important commonplace for the students in the Sharing Cultures Project; despite the vast distance between our two schools, our students often listen to the same music.
"Ha-de-dah" also acts as a metonym for the process we're seeking as instructors in this project. At its best, the project helps us work in concert, building on one another's ideas and returning to our central themes.
