Wade MahonWell, our 14.2 issue just landed in my office this week, and it has an interview with Brian Huot. And the next issue (15.1) is a special issue on personal statements, and it should come out later this summer.

The latter one has an interview that was done by someone outside of our editorial board, so it's an interesting story. That one was a mixture of phone interview and in-person interview. Two of the interviewers, Ellen Barton and Matthew Aldridge (Wayne State University), were visiting in person, and Robert Brown (University of Texas) was on a speaker phone. So that was an interesting dynamic. And it was different from other ones we’ve done, too, because they recorded specific names of the interviewers.

Eric Schroeder: John Boe actually took a leave in the fall because he wanted to do some more interviewing with the most venerable people he could find while they were still with us. We did Ken Macrorie in the fall together, then he went on to interview Wayne Booth and Frank Kermode.
